About

So, if you’ve happened to wander upon this blog randomly, you may be wondering what the hell’s going on. Well, I can fix that. I am Healey. That is all you need to know, but for more information check below:

My real name is Ben Healey. Yep. That. Anyway, I’m a gamer, with a passion for FPS, RTS and whatever other acronyms there are. This blog is a way for me to share my opinions with the rest of the intelligent world. So that’s what I’m doing. If you want to be respected, you’ll share my interests. That is; Games, 30-Year-Old music, Comedy. That’s basically it. Though if you want to go even more in-depth:

Games: I like to think I present a balanced viewpoint of games. I’m not tied to one particular genre, and as I said above, I’m interested in FPS, RTS, RPG and certain undefinable indie produce. I’m a big fan of storytelling and creative design, so I’ll be sure to bring those points up occasionally.

Film & Television: I like comedies. I’m a bit of an aspiring comedian myself, if you can’t tell. American, British, and yes, even sometimes Australian comedies are the general fodder in my viewing habits. Though I do seem to be partial to a good mystery.

Music: For some odd reason, I tend to think of today’s music as… err, mostly crap. I am sort of relieved to see Electro making a comeback these days though. Generally, my music tastes are at least twenty years old, so keep that in mind if you want to discuss boom boxes and what have you.

You should find some youtube videos and put them on here (or at least the links) and find some other cool things across the internet. Your writting is suprisingly good, but i reckon you could do reviews of recent movies you’ve seen, maybe albums you like and Dexter episodes (kinda like a recap). By the way, check out sxphils channel on youtube.

Noted. I’ll be keeping up-to-date on non-gaming matters in Healey from now on as well as the usual geek fare. Thanks for the advice and reluctant support.
